Queensborough, Holy Trinity, Kent, *

“The churchyard is crammed with tombs mostly of seafarers. By far the biggest, indeed one of the biggest in Kent, is to the Greet family, doyens of the town. The tomb, of 1829, is a baroque chest rising to a finial and obelisk, a fine memorial to a once-royal port.”
